Yes I am free to go after whatever goals I want to go after for the next two and half months! Roughly speaking, anyway. This is just a quick post to celebrate the last day of school. Because what would a blog about school be without a celebratory entry about the END of a school year and the commencement of a new BEGINNING?
Even if you're not out from school yet, the weather is not going to suddenly turn into winter so....

School. An evil place. Filled with evil people. And evil teachers. That give you evil summer homework. And let us poor children out on the evil day of June 23.
Summer homework?? Gah, that really stinks. What sort of homework did you get? and SEVEN DAYS LEFT. You can make it! It'll just fly by. Or else. It better. Any day past June 1 is way too late to let kids out of school.
We didn't get it yet. But we get math and we have to read a few books and we might have to type a five paragraph summary. But I didn't get math last summer and last summer, I didn't have to do a summary. Maybe I'll get lucky again! I'm outta here on the 23rd. And Monday is no school and the last week is all half days.
